I try to allow unbridled instinct to guide my hand, and to draw from
the abstract conciousness or autonomous free association. Drawing
gives me the musing feeling of being before a blank sea -- able to
swim in any direction, even up. I am gratefull to have the ability to
use my penspan as a lever for expressing ideals. My inspirations are
speculative theory surrounding issues of cosmic wonder, rationality,
existential philosophy, freejazz stride piano, and psychadelic modes.
I work as a graphic designer, specializing in brand strategy or the
construction of visual identities, using a symbol to convey a certain
attitude and legitimacy. To date, my artwork has been published in a
number of books and journals, and my work has also appeared on
exhibition at small galleries in the New York area.
